Legacy product line, discontinued by the manufacturer. Supplied as a sourced spare on request. ABB's stated modern equivalent is the ACS880 drive with the Crane Control program (option +N5050).
The DAPM cabin input/output module is the link between the crane driver and the ABB ASTAT control system.
It sits in the driver's console, reads the master switch and other cabin controls, and drives an operator alert indication panel of roughly 80 by 120 mm supplied with a 1 m cable. It talks to the DARA control system module over fibre optics, so there is no long copper signal run from the cabin to the panel.
DAPM 100 handles both analog and digital signals and is the model to pick if load cell functions are needed. DAPM 101 is digital only and suits a stepped master switch with no second operator station. The +HD heavy-duty versions use a metal case and are rated to +70 degrees Celsius instead of +55.
